    Mobile mechanic approved

    This thing is small but mighty! I use in my side job of mobile mechanics. Most recently I used on diesel engine with bad injector complaint. I used to measure cylinder/exhaust temperature on engine as it was warming up . It helped verify the injector was over fueling on that one cylinder more than the others. Good tool and highly recommend.

    Really cool.

    I use it to monitor temperatures in my snake enclosures and for that it seems to work fine (for the most part). I do tend to wonder how accurate the temperature readings are so I still verify things with another thermometer gun. After giving it 20 seconds to calibrate it’ll say my hotspot is a perfect 92.5, but if I set the device down to do something else and then check temps again in a minute or so it’ll suddenly say the basking temp is a whopping 105 even though the surface feels the exact same. I find myself having to shut the device off even if I plan to use it again within a minute or so. That being said I’m still giving it 5 stars because I enjoy owning it. I do use it regularly still.
