TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. Return & Refund Policy

Applies only to purchases made directly from the TOPDON Online Store at www.topdon.us by TOPDON Technology USA, Inc.

Products purchased through authorized dealers, distributors, Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, or other third-party sales channels are subject to the return and refund policies of those sellers, which shall govern such purchases.

Return Policy Summary

  • Eligible physical products purchased from www.topdon.us may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
  • Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Standard parcel returns within the United States are subject to an $8.95 return shipping fee.
  • Oversized, freight, hazardous-material, special-handling, Canadian, and other international returns may incur higher return shipping charges.
  • Items must be returned in accordance with the return conditions outlined below.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 2–3 business days after inspection.

IMPORTANT: DIGITAL PRODUCTS, SOFTWARE SUBSCRIPTIONS, SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS, ACTIVATION CODES, SOFTWARE LICENSES, DIGITAL SERVICES, AND IN-APP PURCHASES ARE FINAL SALE AND ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN, REFUND, OR EXCHANGE EXCEPT WHERE REQUIRED BY LAW.

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Eligible physical products purchased directly from www.topdon.us may be returned within 30 days of the carrier-confirmed delivery date for a refund or exchange, subject to the conditions below.

  • Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Once approved, products must be shipped back within 30 days of return authorization.
  • A valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required before any return is shipped.

If you experience a product issue, please contact TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. and allow us the opportunity to troubleshoot or resolve the issue. If we cannot resolve the issue, we will approve a return, replacement, repair, or exchange, as appropriate.

Return Conditions

To qualify for a refund or exchange, returned products must:

  • Be returned in original packaging.
  • Include all original accessories, cables, adapters, manuals, promotional items, and included materials.
  • Match the original serial number shipped for the order.
  • Be unlinked from any cloud account or connected service.
  • Not be account-locked.
  • Have all personal data removed and be restored to factory settings where applicable.

Products returned under the 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee should be in like-new, resalable condition.

Exception: The like-new condition requirement does not apply to products returned due to a verified manufacturing defect or product malfunction reported within the applicable return period.

Items may be opened, installed, updated, and reasonably evaluated during the return period. However, returns may be denied or subject to a restocking fee if the product shows excessive use, abuse, damage, missing contents, or conditions that materially affect resale value.

Returns May Be Denied If:

  • The return request is submitted after the applicable return period.
  • Required proof of purchase cannot be provided.
  • The product shows evidence of misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper installation, or accidental damage.
  • Product labels or serial numbers have been removed, altered, or tampered with.
  • The approved return is not shipped within 30 days after return authorization.
  • The product was purchased through a third-party seller whose policies govern the transaction.
  • The return otherwise fails to comply with this policy.

Missing items / wrong items / empty box returns: TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. reserves the right to deny refunds for returns that are empty, missing major components, contain substituted products, or otherwise do not match the original order.

Restocking Fee

TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. may assess a restocking fee of up to 15% in circumstances including, but not limited to:

  • Excessive or repeated return activity.
  • Evidence of product use beyond reasonable evaluation.
  • Missing components, accessories, documentation, or packaging.
  • Damage that affects resale value.
  • Suspected abuse of the return policy.

TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. may waive the restocking fee at its sole discretion.

No restocking fee will be charged where prohibited by law.

TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. reserves the right to refuse returns or limit quantities in cases of suspected abuse of the return policy.

Return Shipping

Standard parcel returns within the United States are subject to an $8.95 return shipping fee.

Oversized products, freight shipments, hazardous materials, special-handling items, returns from Canada, and other international returns are excluded from the flat-rate return shipping fee and may incur higher return shipping charges.

Applicable return shipping charges will be disclosed during the return authorization process.

Return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount unless the return is the result of a TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. error.

Customers must use the return label or return instructions provided by TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. unless otherwise authorized.

If the return is due to a TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. error, including shipment of an incorrect item, verified product defect, or shipping damage, applicable return shipping charges will be waived.

How to Return an Item

Start your return from your account page at www.topdon.us.

  1. Log in to your account.
    • Enter your email address and click Continue.
    • Open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code.
    • Return to the website and enter the verification code.
  2. Select the order you want to return.
  3. Select the item(s) you want to return.
  4. Choose a return reason and add any notes.
  5. Submit the return request.

If your return request is approved, you will receive return instructions and, when applicable, a return shipping label.

Pack the product with all original contents and packaging and ship the return according to the provided instructions.

Returns shipped without an approved RMA may not be accepted.

Inspection, Refund Method, and Timing

All returned products are inspected upon receipt.

Refunds are issued only after the returned product has been received and verified to meet the requirements of this policy.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Returns are generally processed within 2–3 business days after inspection.
  • Financial institutions may require additional time to post the refund.

Refunds are issued for the purchase price paid, less applicable return shipping charges, restocking fees, and other deductions permitted under this policy.

Sales tax will be refunded where required by applicable law.

Exchanges

Eligible products may be exchanged for the same item, subject to availability.

Exchange requests remain subject to the same eligibility requirements, inspection process, and approval criteria described in this policy.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is damaged in transit, defective, or not the product ordered, contact TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. within 30 days of delivery.

TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. may arrange a replacement, exchange, repair, or refund, as appropriate.

For confirmed TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. errors, reasonable return shipping costs will be covered by TOPDON Technology USA, Inc.

After the return period expires, product issues may be covered under the applicable Limited Warranty Policy.

Software Subscriptions, Digital Items, and Final Sale Purchases

ALL SOFTWARE SUBSCRIPTIONS, SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS, DIGITAL PRODUCTS, ACTIVATION CODES, SOFTWARE LICENSES, DIGITAL SERVICES, AND IN-APP PURCHASES ARE FINAL SALE.

THESE ITEMS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN, REFUND, OR EXCHANGE EXCEPT WHERE REQUIRED BY LAW.

  • Subscription renewals are non-refundable.
  • Digital products and in-app purchases are non-refundable once purchased or delivered.
  • Returning hardware does not automatically refund activated subscriptions or digital products.
  • Software access, activation codes, updates, licenses, and digital services are not eligible for return or exchange.

Other Non-Returnable Items

The following items are also not eligible for return:

  • Final Sale merchandise.
  • Custom or personalized orders.
  • Gift cards and prepaid cards, including third-party gift cards.
  • Memberships, service plans, completed services, and gift packaging.
  • Opened consumable products.
  • Products returned in damaged, unsanitary, incomplete, or non-resalable condition.

Privacy Protection

Please remove all personal information and account credentials from products prior to return.

Devices returned with active account locks may be refused.

International Customers and Export Regulations

Customers outside the United States are responsible for complying with applicable export regulations and import requirements.

Additional return shipping charges, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and customs-related expenses may apply to international returns and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law or authorized by TOPDON Technology USA, Inc.

Disputes and Chargebacks

If you experience an issue with an order or product, please contact TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. may delay resolution and may affect eligibility for future purchases or account privileges.

Policy Updates and Legal Compliance

TOPDON Technology USA, Inc. reserves the right to update or modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.

The version of the policy in effect at the time of purchase will govern that transaction.

This policy is intended to comply with applicable federal, state, and local consumer protection laws. Where required by law, certain provisions of this policy may not apply.
